Being under water as a human is... different. It can make you feel like you are one with everything around you. but it can also raise fears of things that lurk in the deep. Dark things that can rip a man apart with the flick of a fin. For Cal though, the water was home and, seeing as he only knew about one or two places with water in them (the bath tub and the Swimming pool), he decided to just go with the flow and do his morning laps. As he finished his tenth mile as a human, he decided to just relax. He got out of the pool and locked the doors to the pool, freezing the locks with a short get of ice. He then dove in, letting his true nature take over, he felt his feet mold together and turn into a shark fin, his lower half changing with the rest of him. He then sank to the bottom and took a nap. knowing he would probably miss physics, he slept soundly... he hated that teacher anyway.

Why had he bothered to come here? What was the point?
Was he really that desperate for answers? Really.
Had he really made the choice to surround himself with... humans? And young ones, at that!
For decades now, Tora had despised humans. Each and every one of them. He hated the fake way they laughed, the pathetic way they cried, the ridiculous way they clung to their petty little relationships. But most of all, he loathed their dishonesty, the deceit that came with their race. Perhaps that's why he found himself ditching class now, striding across the training course toward the pool and shoving a cigarette into mouth (with no regard for the rules about on campus smoking). Perhaps it was because he needed to escape them - and the stench of their kind. If only for an hour.
God, how their scent pissed them off.
His heavy boots scraped against the pavement that winded around the course, trying to calm his anger and frustration with the stick of nicotine that dangled between his thin lips. He slowly came to a stop in front of the doors to the pool house, his amber eyes fluttering shut as he took a harsh drag on his cigarette. A large cloud of smoke exploded from his lips as nostrils as he exhaled. Ah, cigarettes. The perfect remedy to an off day. Though he couldn't help but feel a little agitated still. "You wanted this, Tora... " He told himself in a low growl, bitterness tinging his voice, "Now suck it up and deal with it." Oh, if only it were that easy...
Tora leaned against the brick exterior of the pool house, thinking to himself as he worked on his cig. It was only his first full day at Foxglove and already he'd wanted to send three, no, four humans to early graves. It had been so long since he'd been in a social sort of environment. So, naturally he would be a bit... peeved, right? He sighed and threw his cigarette butt to the ground, slamming his boot down on it to crush it even further. But was it natural for him to want to rip into the flesh of every human he passed? A small frown tugged on his lips as he pushed away from the wall and stood upright.
No more thinking, no more worrying. I need to relax.
Turning and facing the door, he took a deep breath and reached for the handle. "Shit!" Immediately he jumped back as though he'd been burned. But it was the opposite... It felt he had wrapped his fingers around about a thousand frozen ice cubes. Just from having grasped the handle for seconds, his palm stung and swelled, turning a soft red. "What...the hell?" For a moment he hovered over the doorknob, just pondering. He could just phase into his other form and knock the door from it's hinges... of course ... that would take a lot of effort. And he didn't exactly want to allow anyone... any...human... to see him in that form. It was then, that it came to him. His lips turned upward slightly, forming a sort of smug grin as he pressed his fingertips to the door. A horrid screech of claws against metal broke out against the peaceful quiet of the morning. Tora drug his hand down, sharp and intimidating claws shooting from each fingertip, slicing though the door as though it were nothing but paper. His smirk broadened. He would get inside. And no one coutld stop him.

There was nothing but the storm…. Twenty foot waves were moving the boat like wind on a feather. He was moving on the water, surfing the waves in his natural form, the merman that he was. He moved with ease, as if there was nothing. In the back of his mind he could hear his true father’s voice. “You must stop her! Arilia MUST NOT tell your mother of me.” He raced forward, speeding with his father’s egging. He finally got to the boat, freezing the water as he got on to stabilize it. Cal moved quickly and quietly, for his mother’s quarters.
Caligan was dreaming. It didn’t happen often enough and he hated it when did. It was always the same dream, of what happened before he… he couldn’t think about it… To be honest, he more meditated than slept. But when he woke up screaming, it wasn’t because of the dream…It was a sound. And underwater, the sound of a door being shredded could piss anybody off. When that happened, he went for the only thing he could… “Godly scare factor”.
He awoke and swam in circles, getting tighter and tighter until he made his funnel. He then thickened and turned the water, making it the color of blood. He then surrounded himself with pure water, freezing it into an orb of ice. He moved the orb into the middle of the funnel, then lifted the entire affair into the air and looked down on the idiot that had messed with this sleep.
“What the hell did you do that for?!” he yelled, using the god voice. He dismounted and let everything fall, making sure to turn all the water and fixings back to normal and turning into his human form. “You could have just knocked, Damn.” he said as he unfroze and opened the door.
